Dan has almost 30 years of financial experience including extensive merger, acquisition, restructuring and divestiture activity. The majority of his work has been in high tech sectors such as semiconductors, telecommunications, Internet, software and design tools.
His background and skills include internal audit, financial planning and analysis, cost accounting, financial reporting, revenue recognition, treasury management, Sarbanes-Oxley, FAS123R and government contract accounting and management. He has helped his clients to secure in excess of $200M of equity and debt, established lines of credit and R&D contracts, and set up internal controls and administrative functions such as HR, Purchasing, Facilities, and IT.
Most recently, Dan has been a consulting Chief Financial Officer for early stage start-ups with an emphasis on semiconductors and semiconductor capital equipment sectors. Prior to joining FLG, he held various positions at LSI Logic, DSC Communications, Granger Associates, Alumax and Liquid Air.
Dan earned a BS in Accounting from California State University, Chico and a Finance MBA from Golden Gate University.
