Doug is a Co-Founder of FLG Partners with over 35 years of experience in financial management at both public and private companies.  He has nurtured five startups as chief financial officer, raising over $100 million in venture capital and bank credit, and he has filed S-1s for two initial public offerings.

His experience includes turnarounds, crisis management, and implementation of ERP systems. His responsibilities have included all finance, accounting, legal, banking, leasing, investor relations, facilities, human resources, MIS, and government contracting functions.

Doug has worked for a broad spectrum of technology companies, including but not limited to fabless semiconductor companies, semiconductor manufacturers, semiconductor equipment manufacturers, R&D consortiums, network storage equipment providers, companies in reverse logistics & service, and a solar thermal company. Recently, Doug has worked with Khosla Ventures, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Pinnacle Ventures, Kern Energy Partners, Lighthouse Capital, Starfish Ventures, and others.

He holds an MBA in Finance from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley and a BA in History from St. Mary’s College of California.
