David has over 30 years of financial and operational management experience, principally in the software and high technology industries, including Software-as-a-Service.

While CFO of Teknekron Software (predecessor of TIBCO Software), David was responsible for finance, operations, human resources and facilities during a period of significant and profitable growth. He had substantial involvement in closing business with major clients, and negotiating strategic partnerships with other software companies. He played a lead role in negotiating the successful acquisition and later restructuring and spinout of the company. Later as EVP of Operations for TIBCO Software, he was responsible for leading a significant cost reduction program, including renegotiation of a major real estate lease.

Other roles throughout his career have included Chief Financial Officer, Vice President of Finance, Controller, Corporate Secretary and Executive Vice President of Operations, in both public and private companies. As a consultant, he has been engaged as interim Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer and Business Development Executive, in addition to project-based assignments. He has been a private investor and member of a venture investment group, and has served on the Board of Directors of two private companies.

While FLG has a well-deserved reputation for being a firm of CFO smoke-jumpers and EMTs, one of us actually is one.  In addition to his CFO activities, David is a volunteer firefighter and EMT with the Sea Ranch Fire Department.

David earned a BS in Mathematics (Summa Cum Laude) from Arizona State University an MBA from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
