Linda has over 20 years of operational, financial and capital markets experience in life sciences, software and investment banking. She has built particular expertise in the life sciences sector, notably biotechnology, life science tools and diagnostics. As CFO, Linda has overseen finance at research- and commercial-stage enterprises, consummated financing and M&A transactions, contributed to operations and strategy, and worked at private and public companies. As an investment banker, Linda completed over 30 transactions, raising over $5 billion in capital for companies ranging from emerging start-ups to Fortune 500 companies.

Prior to joining FLG, Linda was the sole principal of RDJ Advisors, providing interim CFO and other consulting services to life science and software companies. Previously, as the CFO of Solexa, a publicly traded firm manufacturing and selling genetic analysis instrumentation, consumables and services, Linda was responsible for raising over $100 million in PIPE financings; building international staffing, implementing a new ERP system and establishing SOX-404 compliance; managing investor relations, human resources and certain legal matters; and negotiating the sale of Solexa to Illumina, Inc. in a $600 million stock-for-stock transaction announced in November 2006.

Earlier Linda served as Vice President of Finance at ChemoCentryx, a biotechnology company, and as Senior Vice President of Lehman Brothers’ Global Healthcare Investment Banking Group. Linda sits on the board of Sensorin, an analytical instrument company.

Linda earned B.A. and M.A. degrees in Economics (summa cum laude) from the University of California, Los Angeles.
