Jon is an experienced financial executive with more than 30 years experience in finance and operations. His expertise ranges from managing high-growth organizations, to building reporting and control systems, improving liquidity, and managing and integrating acquisitions.

Jon recently completed an assignment assisting a private, venture-backed software consulting firm with the integration of recent acquisitions in Europe and with establishing US-GAAP based financial reporting policies across its international operations. Prior to that he concluded a two-year engagement as the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Neurobiological Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: NTII), a biotechnology firm, for which he previously consulted. Prior to his engagement with NTII, Jon was the consulting CFO for a public, natural resources company. He also led a consulting engagement for the initial Sarbanes-Oxley application controls examination of SanDisk Corporation (NASDAQ: SNDK), a multi-billion dollar supplier of flash memory.

Previously, Jon was the International Controller at BearingPoint, Inc. (formerly KPMG Consulting, Inc.), where he was responsible for the financial reporting, budgeting and cash forecasting throughout 26 countries in the Latin America and Asia-Pacific regions. Prior to holding that role, he was CFO for the Latin America Region where he managed the acquisition of 11 consulting practices throughout Latin America, and built a regional finance team prior to BearingPoint’s successful IPO. Previously, he has been a financial officer of Exponent and First Republic Bancorp. He began his career with Arthur Andersen & Co. in San Francisco where he practiced in the audit division for 11 years.
